SOLD! SONY SEQ-50 portable 5-band EQ SOLD!
DESCRIPTION:
This is retro SONY SEQ-50 portable 5-band EQ for walkmans and discmans. It’s an EQ which offers 100% analog high quality sound. IT’s a very rare accessory that is very hard to find.
It has the following features:
– 5-band EQ with +/- 10 dB level adjustment.
– Two headphone outputs
– High quality sound
– Small factor
– Made in Japan
It’s a truly special model for collectors, specially for those that want the highest audio quality and 100% analog sound.
STATUS: FULL WORKING:
It works perfectly, and the sound is really excellent. Crisp and clean highs and powerful bass (if you set the EQ curve properly, of course).
It only suffers a small problem: if the cable is touched, you can suffer from sound in only one channel or some noise. If you find the proper position of the cable, everything is perfect. This is a common problem in vintage cables, and can be very easily repaired by any electronic technician.
UPDATE: It has been serviced by a professional technician. Now it works perfectly.
Cosmetically the unit is used condition, with many small scratches. For details, see the photos.
No black marker has been used (to hide scratches) before taking photos.
