Somos dos fanáticos de la música analógica y en especial de los cassettes, y hemos realizado “pinchadas” con cassettes en diversas fiestas a lo largo del pais.

ENG: We’re two analog music fanatics, specially about cassettes, and we’ve performed some “DJ”sessions with cassettes in various parties throughout the country (Spain).

Lorenzo (TJ de Tape Jockey) vive en Zaragoza y tiene la mayor colección de walkmans del pais y probablemente del mundo, con 1000 walkmans (mayo ’17). Ha sido entrevistado en Tentaciones El PAIS y en varios programas de TV.

ENG: Lorenzo (TJ, aka Tape Jockey) lives in zaragoza y has the country’s biggest walkman collection and probably world’s biggest, with 1000 walkmans (may ’17). He has benn interviewed in Tentaciones El PAIS and in several TV shows.

Hugo (CJ de Cassette Jockey) vive en Barcelona y es el autor de esta página. Su colección contiene la mayoría de modelos de alta gama de las principales marcas (AIWA, SONY, Panasonic, SHARP, Toshiba…) en sus mejores años (83-92). La mayoría de ellos en excelentes condiciones y muchos han sido reparados y funcionan.

His collection has mostly high-class models from the main brands (AIWA, SONY, Panasonic, SHARP, Toshiba…) in their best years (83-92). Most of them are in excellent condition and many are already serviced so they work.

La música que ponemos/The music we play

I usually like to start with mild pop. then, after 1/2-1h I switch to Pop (dancing) and stay here for 1-2 h. Then I switch to rock and progressively go to hard (classic) rock. I stay there for 1-2h…

But it depends on the type of bar/party. I can stick to pop, rock of any of these styles. I also can start with rock and stay all the time with that, going from classic to modern, alternative rock.
